Russia - Should I be Concerned?

Russia - Should I be Concerned?

Tensions are rising in the east and the markets are heading south. Should I be concerned about the recent volatility or stay the course?

In the last few days, markets have priced in these concerns. However, a direct conflict between the two nations is not an entirely new event. In 2014, Russia invaded the Crimean Peninsula and annexed the peninsula from Ukraine. By year end the S&P 500 increased by roughly 12%

While historical performance is no indication of future performance, I still hold strong confidence in this year's potential growth.
